When I tried to install the software for this product that was included on a CD, it did not work. After quite some time of trying to figure out what was wrong, I noticed the CD said “copyright 2006.” The MediaTV application on this disk was not compatible with Vista because it could not recognize Windows Media Player 11, which is built into Vista and cannot be downgraded without downgrading to XP. So all I need to do to fix this problem is download the updated software from the manufacturer’s website, right? Wrong. I went to ADS Tech’s website, and it was down. I had to wait a week for them to get it back up so I could download the current software and get the TV tuner working. It works fine now, but the outdated software CD and the weeklong website outage were a huge hassle.

The device was easy to hook up, and after some tweaking the tv signal came through great on the computer. After I had recorded what I wanted to I edited the commercials out, I feel it has issues as when I came back later all that I edited, and saved, was reset. This seems to be a reocurring theme.

Acually making a dvd from what you recorded off the tv is really lacking. You are not able to customize the dvd menu and you have no say in labeling the seperate shows you want to put on the dvd. Also the software has a thumbnail option from each show recorded that I though was to be on the dvd menu. It is not. Another problem with this is it seems to work only with the computer that has the original software on it. It does not work well on my dvd player or at all on my other two dvd capable computers.

If the dvd’s you record actually ends up working, then I would recommend this product to those who do not care too much about how their dvd is formatted, as it is very amature. Beyond that this device is only good for watching tv on your computer monitor.

I just recived this unit today, It is a little on the big size even for a med rating. I am glad I will also be reciving a flash bracket for use the soft box is so large it almost sit’s ontop of the lens when pointed straight forward. I did use it real quick for a couple of shots for my dog bouncing the light off the celing and it loos so much better then when I was using nothing. I am looking forward to using it at a wedding I am shooting next week.

very simple made from plastic, it folds so its easy to carry, its not very stylish to have for a wedding but it does the job. you need to be very close to the subject to get the full light effect, if not then you only get the middle of your photo with light and the sides go dark.

I am a full time working photographer primarily shooting event photography (no weddings), portraits, the arts, etc. I bought this on a whim for use on my Nikon SB-300. I do have a variety of diffusers, but this one really is excellent for a very even spread of light in darker situations when I don’t want to drag out all the gear or if I am doing an outside portrait and need fill flash with out the obvious color problems encountered.

Excellent use indoors and is so lightweight, it does not get in they way at all. It is constructed as is per the price point, but is easy to store in a cam bag. Will probably order a couple more for backup.

Highly recommended. Performs as advertised.

I bought this enclosure along with a 500GB hard drive to upgrade my MacBook Pro (Unibody, late 2008). The enclosure comes with everything you need to install a hard drive into the enclosure, including a small magnetic screwdriver.

The enclosure is advertised as being aluminum. The black covers are aluminum but the sliver part you see is cheap plastic. I can easily foresee the “handle” breaking off in the near future.

The screws to secure the back plate onto the enclosure, screw into the plastic frame. The holes are not threaded. At first I could not get the screws to seat perpendicular to the enclosure. A quick look with a flashlight into the predrilled holes confirmed that the holes were not threaded. When installing, push hard and the screws will go in.

After installing, the drive was immediately recognized. The drive is faster than my other externals but I believe this is due to the fact that this is a SATA drive as opposed to the IDE drives I have laying around the house.

$15.99 is likely a fair price for this drive but don’t expect a bargain. The pictures make this enclosure appear to be of much higher quality than it really is.

I recommend this drive if you are looking for a cheap SATA enclosure that will enable you to do a HD upgrade, and place your old drive in this enclosure. If you are looking for something robust that will handle being carried around in a bag or plan on opening the enclosure often, I recommend you look elsewhere and spend a little more money.

I like this sleeve. It protects my MacBook Air so I can carry it with another laptop in a standard laptop bag or just carry it alone. When I first got the sleeve, it seemed as though the MacBook Air did not insert far enough into the case for the tab to easily snap shut. After about a month I realized that this was because there was a pouch of desiccant jammed into the bottom of the sleeve. After removing that, I found the sleeve is a perfect fit. The sleeve is not made of leather but it is stiff and protects the MacBook Air from scratches and bumps well. The eject tab works well. You can charge the computer while it is in the sleeve because one side is exposed. I haven’t found anything else as easy-to-use and functional to protect the MacBook Air as this sleeve.

I got this case for my 2011 “13 MacBook Air and it fits perfectly and protects the computer when I’m on the road. The case almost never needs to come out of my backpack’s laptop section. I just pull on the tab to pull the MBA out and it’s done. Then I just push the MBA firmly back into the case and close the cover. The case provides good additional surface protection for the MBA and is also a stylish case to tote around if you’re only going to be moving around with the computer. The fit was initially a little tight but the case seems to have expanded a bit after having been on the road for a while, so the MBA now fits the case perfectly. I’m happy with it.

It’s a very tight fit, but has a pull tab that ejects your MacBook Air about three inches; very clever. My only complaint (and loss of one star) is for the case’s odor. I’ve been using it for a month and the case still smells like industrial solvent. I think it’s getting better, but even my MBA smells like it now.

So far after about a month of use, I have no complaints about this m4/3 adapter. It does exactly what it’s supposed to, and without any fuss. It mounts both the MC lenses I have snugly but not to the point of being difficult to remove. I like how the adapter matches the GF1 and doesn’t stand out and scream “adapter”. It blends with the lenses too and makes for a nice looking combination. I would buy this again in the same situation, and I will look first at Rainbow Imaging if I ever need another adapter.

I clamped my old Minolta lens to the adapter, and then the adapter to my m4/3 body. It worked. No, no hassle, no problems. Now it does focus slightly past infinity, so that is something to keep in mind. I don’t think it’s unusual for these types of adapters; they’re designed to focus beyond infinity rather than potentially stop short of it. Other than that, it’s great. Probably tougher than many of the plastic-mount native lenses.

I am not a coffee connoisseur by any stretch of the imagination – I’ve never even tried a cappuccino, or a latte. But I do know when I’ve had a good tasting regular cup of coffee.

This coffee is that – a very good tasting cup of coffee. It’s not too overpowering, but it’s definitely not weak either.

I use the Mr. Coffee IDS77 Electric Coffee Grinder with Chamber Maid Cleaning System, Black to grind the beans. I find this to be an excellent combination.

This was one of the first good coffees I ever remember having. This was the coffee that really made Starbucks famous. You almost never see it sold in their stores as a coffee of the day any more, but it really should be. Breakfast Blend is a very light, wonderful coffee with a bright flavor and no crappy aftertaste. Some of their stuff, like the Sumatra blend, makes me feel like I just drank out of an ash tray because it’s so overroasted that it should come in a menthol blend.

It tastes good any time of the day. You could drink it with a dip of chew in your mouth while tossing back slim jims or move to the other side of things and pair it with creme brulee. It goes with almost anything. The only thing I don’t like it about is the value. I rarely see it for a competitive price. What Amazon sells it for is far better of a price than in stores, where it goes for between $9-$12 for a 12 ounce bag.

This is one of the coffees you get for people who are afraid to admit they like coffee. You know who I mean. That jerk of an uncle who whine and moans about you having a french press because, “I like my coffee normal, not all this fancy crap!” This is the coffee you get when those people are over. It’s not confrontational.

Anybody with a cheap pair of cutting pliers will be able to cut through the cable in seconds. I know because I just did it. The cable is very thin and is made of pliable steel wire. You could even use household scissors to gnaw through.

Having this lock on is better than nothing because the thief needs to have some cutting tool and then has to deal with the remaining lock that is attached to your computer. However, if you are going to go through the trouble of locking up your computer, you might as well get something with a stronger cable.

This is a piece of junk and the description is misleading. The cable is so thin (about the thickness of a thin earphone cable) that I’m confident it could be cut with a pair of scissors. Or maybe you could just bend the wire (it’s not really a cable) back and forth until it broke. I have another MicroSaver that has a real cable and would not even consider using this one to secure my laptop. And, to make things worse, the packaging is designed so you can’t even tell how thin the wire is until you open the package.

This is a very stylish and sleek case, an added bonus is that it came with a mirrored screen protector and it is amazing that if your phone is not lit up it is an actual mirror, once the phone is lit up it is perfect view. The only down side is it is all plastic so it can be hard to hold on to at times.

sorry, I’m just being honest. This cover will not protect your phone at all. Very Flimsy, I wasted my money on this. Shiny mirror surface but that’s about it! Don’t bother.
